Rented an apartment for 2 years never had any problems got my full deposit back. Had minor problems with a sink leaking Sierra sent a plumbing company over the same day it was amazing. I would definitely rent from them again.

Sierra property management has been great! They are very quick to help and resolve issues. Our fridge broke along with the food inside going bad. They credited us the money we lost in food and got us a new fridge! I have had no problems and their online website to pay rent is very easy and convenient. Highly recommend their properties, and shout out to Tamara, she is extremely nice and has helped us out going above and beyond with anything we needed! Tamara deserves a raise, and she is the real MVP!

I have lived in the same unit for over 15 years. The first year it was managed by another company and I was not happy. When Sierra took over the apartments I noticed how clean the apartments have been kept from the gardner to laundry maintenance etc. David is extremely professional, respectful, and responsive to any of our requests. You can tell he values the tenants for the property he manages. If there is a plumbing issue the plumber shows up immediately.

5 star rating is for Robert and Ernesto who responded to my needs so quickly and took care of all issues. Once here Ernesto was quick, thorough, friendly, and professional. I am very impressed with Robert and Ernesto.

I started renting an apartment from them 2 weeks ago. My first impression They always pick up the phone! and I always get an answer and a timely solution. In my previous experience with other property managers, it was hard to get a hold of them or get a response. So far it has been a fantastic experience dealing with them!

I currently have Sierra as my property manager and I have to say they have been so great during these hard times. They have been kind and understanding and I’m lucky to have them.

My agent Robert is professional, quick, and kind. I am so excited about moving and making my new cottage my home!

Bad landscaping has always been one of my pet-peeves with IV rental companies, but Sierra is ALWAYS on top of it. As a gal who enjoys sunbathing and the occasional yoga session in the front yard, I couldn’t be more grateful for that well-kept grass to break my fall every now and then.

Bailey and the rest of the Sierra reps make renting and getting in touch with them so easy! Coming from a less-than-optimal property management company in Isla Vista 2 years back, Sierra was the best change-of-pace that a college student would ask for.

Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value.

This review is for the 6621 Picasso Rd apartments. I’ve had a great experience here. I’m new to the area and Lydia, the property manager, has made my experience finding my first apartment a breeze. She is so efficient! I email her more than I speak to my own friends because she replies so quickly. During hours of operation, I usually receive an email back within 45 minutes. Upon moving in, they give you a house plunger and a checklist of things you think are wrong with the place. A week later a handyman came to repair everything! THEY ALLOW ANIMALS WHICH IS AMAZING. I recommend these apartments, especially for 1st-time movers to the area and looking for a really good deal!

I was in need of parking space for the coming school year and Lydia in the office went above and beyond helping me have a secure place to park every day.  She tried to find a spot for me that someone else didn’t need and when that didn’t work she had the trash dumpster moved to create a parking spot.  Lydia is kind and attentive to us, she always responds right away to our emails and finds solutions.  Want to feel like you are more than a rent check?  Move to a Sierra Property and try to get Lydia as your property manager!

We just had a good experience with Sierra Property Management. The security deposit deductions were FAIR, well documented, and supported with invoice copies. The deposit was returned timely and the cover letter gave contact information for any questions or issues. This was professionally handled, which has not always been our experience. Sierra Property Management is by far the best landlord/property manager I’ve ever had. They have always been polite, easy to work with, and incredibly responsive. We recently had a pipe leaking – on new year’s eve – and they had someone out to our house within hours. We have always been grateful for their professionalism.

I have rented a home here in Santa Barbara that SPM managed. They were always responsive to maintenance issues that came up. The SPM staff are always courteous, a pleasure to work with.

I have had leased four properties from Sierra, and each and everyone has been a pleasure! When there have been issues with a property, they have been very quick to remedy the situation. The owner Becky Cohn is a delight to work with and is extremely fair! I recently moved out of the area and was very pleased with getting back my entire deposit very quickly. They keep their properties up and have a great crew.

I have had nothing less than an exceptional experience. My property manager, Lydia, is the best! Very accommodating to both my and my boyfriend’s work schedule when we needed to add him to my lease. When the time came for lease renewal, she mailed out the whole thing to the apartment (and even included a prepaid envelope), which was very convenient! A couple of weeks ago, our kitchen sink started leaking and it was fixed the next day. I am comfortable reaching out to Sierra whenever there are issues. I highly recommend renting from properties managed by Sierra. I’m so glad that they’re taking such good care of us.

I got my deposit back after moving out. I was shocked to see the minimal charges. They gave me back everything except for minor cleaning charges (which was expected). The deposit money was given back in less than three weeks. The staff is always so nice and professional. If you are a good tenant and don’t destroy their properties, they take great care of you as well. Thank you for the amazing price in rent and for taking care of your tenants over the years. Greatly appreciated!!!

People come online to complain significantly more than they’ll leave a good review. (Marketing Major) This group has been nothing short of amazing throughout the whole process. Michelle and Dave specifically were the absolute best people to work with and were accommodating to any needs and very responsive in a good time manner…  The location was very maintained, responsive to any need, and overall reasonable prices/deposits. I highly recommend this group as a property manager as they very much over-exceeded my expectations.

I WISH I was still a Sierra resident. They’re definitely one of the best property management companies in Isla Vista (and that’s saying something). They’re super easy to work with and they are GREAT in comparison to other landlords in IV that will try to take every last dime you have to give.

Recently had a plumbing issue, and the Sierra Team had a plumber out the same day as our call to assess and fix our drains! Completely COVID-safe, masks, physical-distancing, and all. Such a kind and accessible staff!
