Sierra Property Management president, Michelle Roberson, recently spoke with Ashley Rusch host of Inside Isla Vista (on KCSB FM) about what it’s been like for the company and property landlords during the pandemic, as more tenants are unable to pay full rent.  Michelle explains the ins and outs of California rental assistance programs and more.

After this program aired, Governor Newsom extended the California Eviction Moratorium to assist tenants and small property owners impacted by COVID-19 on January 29, 2021. The legislation extends the statewide eviction moratorium through June 30, 2021, and protects tenants’ credit. It also creates a State Rental Assistance Program to allocate $2.6 billion in federal rental assistance dollars to assist struggling tenants and small property owners.
